Asian drinks in Europe
Asian soft drinks are consumed more and more in Europe and are more popular than ever.
Soft drinks from Asia often have a more eccentric and exotic flavour than the drinks we are used to in Europe. At Five Star Trading Holland, we respond to this by offering you a wide range of Asian soft drinks, giving you the opportunity to taste these unique products. For instance, we offer various flavours of Hata Kosen Ramune, Chupa Chups and Mogu Mogu. We also carry uncommon flavours from big brands like Coca-Cola, Monster Energy, Pepsi and Fanta.
Hata Kosen Ramune is a Japanese soft drink that comes in many different and distinct flavours. Ramune comes in a glass bottle. Uniquely, the bottles are sealed with a glass marble that you have to push into the bottle to open it. As the marble keeps rattling in the bottle, you get a super fun effect while drinking it.
From South Korea comes Chupa Chups. Once originated in Spain, they make very fruity yet sweet soft drinks, as we are already used to from lollipops. The colourful designs they use for the cans make it a soft drink you really must have in your fridge.
Have you ever tried the Thai Mogu Mogu? An exotic drink that contains pieces of fruit and pulp in addition to real fruit juice. Makes a drink you have to chew on! It has become popular in recent years thanks to social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram and is now unmissable among young people.
Asian versions of big well-known brands like Coca-Cola, Fanta and Monster Energy are becoming increasingly popular in Europe. These drinks are so popular because they have completely different flavours and packaging in Asia than we are used to in Europe. The flavours of the soft drinks and the designs of the packaging can often be traced back to the culture there. In China and Japan, they incorporate a lot of cherry blossom and white peach flavour in their soft drinks. The dragon is often seen as a sign of good luck, as incorporated in the design of the Monster Energy Dragon Chinese Tea. The production method and raw materials used can vary from continent to continent. This gives you an authentic Asian flavour not found in Europe.
