Fortuin is a Dutch candy manufacturer, located in Dokkum. Willem Hendrik Fortuin from Lemmer settled in Dokkum in 1842 as a confectioner. Over the years, the company developed into a luxury sugar confectionery factory, until in 1888 the choice fell on industrial confectionery.
