7 Up

The name 7 Up is a big mystery. Possibly the 7 comes from the original amount per bottle (7 ounces), and the ‘up’ comes from bottoms up. Another rumor is that the 7 would stand for the seven original ingredients and the ‘up’ for carbonation and yet another story is that it is based on a popular card game.
